Whenever possible at Chicago Home + Garden, we tried to include the actual homeowners in our interior photography, capturing them working, relaxing, or entertaining at home. We did the same for designer and artisan profiles, as the studios where they lived or worked were almost always as interesting and personal as their creations.

As associate art director I was involved in all aspects of the magazine's production, from contributing to editorial content to the art direction of photo shoots and execution of design and layout.
