I am a freelance editorial and commercial art director and designer, and my work spans the shelter magazine, interior design, homeware, fashion, and beverage industries. In total, my career includes more than twenty years of design experience in magazines, catalogs, marketing, branding, and E-commerce for many premier national and global brands.

As an art director for Chicago Home + Garden magazine, I developed a passion for good design. I love the pursuit of living well within our homes, surrounded by the things that matter and give us comfort. My experience in editorial, and packaging those stories, now drives my approach to creative direction. I believe the best work we make feels personal, authentic, and truly aspirational, not only selling products but inspiring us to live better. This is not achieved alone. It happens through strong creative collaboration, and I am grateful for all of the amazing and talented professionals I've been able to partner with and learn from throughout my career.

Originally from the Midwest, I studied visual communication at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago. In 2015 my wife and I relocated from New York City to Bangkok, Thailand, to live and work. After four years in Asia, and two more north of Dublin, Ireland, we now split our time between Chicago and the west coast of Mexico. I am uniquely positioned for remote or on-location work anywhere in the region, as well as travel for location and studio shoots anywhere in the world.
